  • Intermission for an iPhone

    I have other Paris photos. But today, I went to Glamis Castle in Scotland. I didn’t have my camera with me, but took a few iPhone photos. They aren’t of much merit, but I’m posting them, because seen cold, I reckon you wouldn’t know they weren’t from a DSLR. and I love cows.

  • What a view

    Of course, the weather wasn’t right, so the view of Paris from Montmartre was a little… bleak. So I made it bleaker in the editing, because why not?

    The area round the Eiffel Tower is kind of scary these days. And it’s surrounded by an enclosure so you can’t get up close like before, so one has to get a bit creative with camera angles.

    The purpose of going to Portsmouth was to spend the night a Spitbank fort, a weird little Napoleonic outpost in the Solent, now done up as a boutique hotel. We had a lot of fun.
